What is Unit Trust?
A unit trust fund is a collective investment scheme, which pools the savings of investors with similar investment objectives in a special "trust" fund managed by professional fund managers.
The pooled monies in the unit trust fund will then be invested in a diversified portfolio of securities and other assets in accordance with the unit trust fund's investment objectives and as permitted under the Securities Commission's (SC) Guidelines on Unit Trust Funds.
The investment scheme of a unit trust fund can be illustrated as a tripartite relationship between the manager, the trustee and the unitholders.
The manager is responsible for the management and operations of the unit trust fund whilst the trustee holds all the assets of the unit trust fund.
The obligations and rights of each of the three parties are specified in the Deed, (a legal document entered into between the manager and the trustee, and registered with the SC).
The Deed regulates the duties and responsibilities of the manager and the trustee with regard to the operations of the trust fund and protects the unitholders' interests.

Buzan Learning Techniques!
CONSIDER... Your brain is a sleeping giant. Many experts believe that we use as little as 1% of our full potential. You have probably spent between 1,000 and 10,000 hours formally learning economics, history, languages, literature, mathematics and political sciences etc. Yet, you will probably only have spent 0 to 10 hours learning:
I am a certified mind mapper & willing to share the knowledge. If anybody intrested to learn these techniques you can always contact me at my email, huzaifahm@yahoo.com
- creative thinking applied to different disciplines
- concentration as a function of time
- memory performance during and after the assimilation of information
- the relationship between brain functions and ageing
- the art of communication for memory
- the nature of vision and it's application to different types of reading
- comprehensive approaches to study and technical reading
- the effect of our modes of thought on habit patterns and change
What about your concentration and comprehension? You have been given content NOT process. Taught what, but not how to learn!
Statistics show that, on average, executives spend:
- 30% of their time reading and sorting through information
- 20% of their time solving problems and thinking creatively
- 20% of their time communicating.

Penang Downpour
Its pass midnight but the downpour that started since the morning does'nt seem to stop. I ride thru the rain midday to visit the The Star property show. As the rain was heavy i decided to stop by my quarters at Sg Ara for a while. But the rain did not stop at all. I was worried bout my break fast meal. So i called Pizza Hut n ordered a simple delivery meal. But unfortunately they called me back after a while telling me that they couldnt deliver becoz of the heavy rain.
So at about 7pm i decided to go out to get something to breakfast. The rain havent stopped, its now more than 10hours since it started. At the sg ara junction it one of the junction has already turned into a stream. I quickly got few kuih n nasi campur n returned back home. My brother latter called me telling me that houses along the Jalan P Ramlee has been floded up to 1 storey. May Allah ease the burden of all the people.

Mind & Parenting Skill
It was conducted by Master Rahim, whom we have invited few years ago to conduct a motivation talk in USM for school student. This talk however was meant for parents.
Knowing Master Rahim, we were enthuastic to learn new things mainly regarding mind as he was famous for his mind power knowledge.
The talk was very benificial as he explained the power of positive thinking. The inner thoughts is the one that build us. If we always have positive inner thoughts...then it will be reflected with positive cracters in us.
He even demonstrated to us how inner thoughts or the thoughts that we have can really effect our body/ physical capability. One of the participant was called and was told repeatedly that his right hand is weak he can't even sequeze a tennis ball if he was given the ball in his hand. Amazinglly he cant sequeze tha ball when given one.
But for me, the important lesson was the answer that he gave for my question. I inquired him on how to stop or change a bad habit. He told us to stop the bad habit & continue to ignore the bad habit at least for 40 days. Acts that we continously do for 40 days will became our habit! so if we stop doing it for 40 days, then we can get rid of that bad habit.
Overall we really enjoyed the talk. Hope to participate in his 5 days workshop end of this year.
